The characters are so well described that you fell like you actually know them in person. Overall, this is a outstanding, well written book that you or your kids will love! - 5.0 out of 5 stars from PAR -- Riveting! : Hunted by Darkness is the first novel of the Balance Keepers Series. It is also the debut novel JL Burrows. It is the story of a young girl who is marked by a demon prince. The only wy that she can save herself and her family is to train with the Sentinel Warrior Angels. She finds herself walk a thing line between the various planes of existence. I found Burrows to be a gifted and talented author. This is a great novel! It pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention. The world building is detailed and imaginative. This novel has strong, well developed characters and an interesting story line that keeps you turning the pages. I recommend this novel and would read more novels by this author. It was a hodgepodge of forced christian ideals, and was an overall paranormal catastrophe. This book kept me engaged the entire time. Love how Burrows developed the main character. Can't wait til the next book comes out. I am definitely a Burrows fan. The book is so well written.
